Welcome to the First, Review Thursday!

This post will be a review of a game console from a company name with which many will be familiar. Today’s product review will be over the Nintendo Switch.

The first positive about the system is its versatility. It can be played in three forms. You can go classic and have the system connected to a TV. The second way to play is as a portable, handheld game system. The third is as a miniature screen and, at least, two players with one controller each.

Another great aspect of the Switch is the variety of games offered. Not only does Nintendo offer a wide selection of newer games, but you can also download and play games from the original NES and Super NES systems. Some of the newer games will be the focus of future reviews on the blog.

The negatives that I have about the console goes along with the second positive. Nintendo has mostly kept its exclusivity over the years. This is, in my opinion, one of the negatives. Few, if any, games offered on other gaming systems are not offered on the Nintendo Switch. The other negative is that the company rarely expands the NES and Super NES game catalog of available options. There are quite a few games that I have been looking forward to seeing them added, but not expecting it anytime soon due to how often the selection is expanded.

If you’ve been looking into a new gaming console, I would definitely recommend the Nintendo Switch. The portability alone would make it worthwhile. If you’re interested at looking into one, click the highlighted text at the beginning of the post to check out more details and read other reviews.

Thanks for spending a few minutes reading the first of many Review Thursdays. Have a safe and fun Weekend.
