• What lead you to write?

I needed a place to escape and writing gave me that place.

• Was there a particular person that influenced you to pursue writing?

No. I’ve been writing in some form, poetry and short horror in the beginning, since I was in middle school.

• What is your preferred genre to write?

Paranormal Suspense

• What is your favorite genre to read?

Horror and paranormal

• What are your favorite activities or hobbies outside of work/writing?

Photography

• Who is your favorite author and what do you enjoy about their writing style?

My favorite author has always been Stephen King. The way he can make me ‘feel’ what’s happening to the characters is something I strive to do with my own writing.

• What is one major struggle you have with writing?

Distraction. I’m easily distracted with social media and creating covers for other authors.

• Out of all of your stories, which one did you most enjoy writing?

Oh gosh. . . That’s a tough question. They are all my babies, but I think I enjoyed writing my series the most. The characters feel like a part of my family and I’m having trouble letting them go.

• What projects are you currently working on?

I have seven different projects right now.

• What has been one of your strongest inspirations for a story?

Life.

• Do you place any of your life experiences into your stories?

Yes, and I’ve shed some tears writing them for others to read.

• If your story could be made into a play or movie, what actor/actress do you think would be the perfect fit to play your mc?

Emma Stone would be the perfect person to play Morgan Pantar.

• If you had enough money to travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Ireland

• What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t worry about what everyone will think, write it anyway. – The Husband.

• What is your dream car?

1967 Chevy Impala hardtop.

• What part of your writing is the most complimented?

The way I draw the reader into the story right from the start and my relatable characters.

• What part of your writing, do you feel, needs strengthening?

All of it. I don’t care how many times I’m told that it’s good, I feel like it could be better.

• What is your favorite mixed drink?

Vodka and pineapple blended with crushed ice.

• What is one of your most cherished items in your writing space?

Pictures of my family.

• What is your favorite food?

Junk. Nothing specific because I like it all.

• What is your favorite show/movie?

Sex and the City/Tombstone
